Kayla joined our team in the fall of 2025.
“I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. I started my photography journey
shooting on film. I still love to shoot with film any chance I get, it just hits differently. My film camera
collection h as grown extensively.
I first started showcasing my photos through 4-H while in grade school. Now I have had the honor of having
some of my photos displayed at the Minnesota State Fair along with some local galleries.
I have been privileged to have photographed over 300 weddings. I love being able to capture and document
such a special day for couples. Some of my favorite moments of the event are: the way a couple gazes at
each other when coming down the aisle, how the parents look on with happiness as the couple declares their
vows, when the grandparents embrace during the anniversary dance, and the list goes on.
I have photographed weddings from a guest list of 8 to 400. I come from a large family so managing the
chaos of the day comes natural to me. I have no problem gathering all your guests for the group photo on the
dance floor or church steps. Another reason why I relish photographing weddings is because every wedding
is so unique and customized for each couple. Weddings have taken me to some beautiful locations and
venues that I would not have been aware of otherwise.”
